This is a Maharashtra recipe...Got from one of my friends nearby...
Love to have it with rice and chappathi
Ingredients
Spinach
Toor Dal
Oil
Turmeric
Hing -a pinch
Onion chopped
Tomato chopped
Mustard
Jeera
Salt- to taste
Chilli Powder
Curry Leaves
Grinding
Ginger
Garlic
Green Chilli
Coriender Leaves
Preparation
Wash toor dal, and add it in cooker
Along with it add spinach that is washed and cut.
Allow it to boil in water with 3 whisle
For frying
Add oil,to it add the musteard seeds,jeera,turmeric,Hing
Then to it add the onions ...
Then add The grinded paste ,curry leaves
After they are fried add the chopped tomatoes to it
Then add salt,chilli powder and fry until they are well cooked and become like a limp
Now add the boiled dal-spinach content
Allow it to cook for 5- 7 min
Add coriender leaves for garnishing
