Mushroom Biriyani(Mom's style)

Ingredients

For Grinding
Garlic-4
Green Chillies-2
Coriander Leaves-As needed
Cardamom-1
Patta-Small

For Frying
Oil
Onion
Tomato
Grinded Paste
Mushrooms
After Oil separates
Rice


Preparation
  • Add Oil in Pan
  • To it add the sliced Onions
  • After Onions are fried add tomatoes
  • After the raw smell is gone add the grinded paste
  • To that add the mushrooms and pour some water
  • Let it cook until the oil separates from the gravy
  • Finally add the rice
  • Water for rice is 1:2 ratio
  • Cook the biriyani for sometime and keep the vessel in a tawa for steam cooking
  • Mushroom biriyani is ready
  • Serve hot with raita
